The purpose of the IT Governance Council (ITG) is to provide strategic direction to Network & Information Systems, Texas Transportation Institute. These recommendations include the prioritization of information technology (IT) related projects, as well as guidance on IT-related issues affecting the Agency.
ITG accomplishes this by reviewing potential projects (i.e., Demands), assessing them on a variety of factors including strategic alignment and impact, and prioritizing them based upon value to the Agency and/or Division. ITG accomplishes this using a Demand Management Process.
ITG meets on a regular basis.
